"Ricky Martin MTV Unplugged" is a live album by Ricky Martin released on November 7, 2006 in CD and DVD formats by Sony BMG Norte. It was re-released as a CD and DVD combo-package in May 2007. An exclusive Wal-Mart packaging was made available with the original CD purchase and a DVD titled "Making of Ricky Martin MTV Unplugged", which includes a 40 minute behind the scenes documentary and the music video to "Tu Recuerdo". (The music video for "Tu Recuerdo" is just an extracted live performance of the song from MTV Unplugged.) This 12 track live album has sold 138,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan as of February/March, 2007 and has been certified Gold in the Latin charts.

Three new tracks were included: "Tu Recuerdo" featuring La Mari and producer Tommy Torres which topped Billboard Latin airplay charts and spent also one week on the Billboard Hot 100 at #89 and peaked at #10 on the Billboard Latin Hot Latin Tracks charts; "Pegate" (second single that peaked at #11 on the Hot Latin Tracks and #6 in the Hot Dance Club Play charts) and "Con Tu Nombre" (which so far has peaked at #47 on the Latin Charts)

Enrique Martín Morales (born December 24, 1971), better known by his stage name Ricky Martin, is a Grammy Award- and Latin Grammy Award- winning, Puerto Rican pop singer who rose to fame, first as a member of the Latin boy band Menudo, then as a solo artist since 1991.

His career has spanned over three decades and has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide. He is the founder of Ricky Martín Foundation (in Spanish Fundación Ricky Martin) a non-profit charity organization.

Martin is not married. But in 2008, he became a single father of twin boys, Matteo and Valentino.
